Many years ago, Mary Lou Weslin and her husband Norman became involved in Pro-Life work. Together they prayed and picketed in front of the abortion mills, and worked hard to save lives of unborn children. Through her heart's work, Mary Lou became aware of a need for 'Safe Haven' homes for Pregnant, Unwed Mothers in crisis pregnancy.
Unfortunately, the Lord took her in a tragic
car accident in 1980, and her family decided to
fulfill her dream of opening up Homes for Pregnant, Unwed Mothers, in her honor, all over the country. Through Mary Lou's intercession and YOUR help, 226 of Jesus Christ's babies have been born through the Mary Weslin homes and many pregnant, unwed mothers have been reconciled with their families.

Our society has become a 'Culture of Death,' providing women in crisis pregnancies with very few options other than to take the life of their own baby. Abortion is a permanent solution to a passing hardship. We are here to help these women realize there is a better way.
The Mary Weslin Homes for Pregnant, Unwed Mothers assists women in crisis during and after their pregnancy. We provide a safe haven which cares for their basic needs, such as food, shelter, counseling, spiritual guidance and friendship. We are not government or church sponsored institutions, but a non-profit ministry. We are average, private, Catholic homes with a Christian family atmosphere. During her stay we assess each woman's individual goals and future needs. Through our love and support we can place the young mother back into a competitive society after her baby is born.
